DELL UPDATES PRECISION M6500 WITH USB 3.0 PORTS AND CORE i5 PROCESSORS

Dell has upgraded its Precision M6500 laptop. The machine already sports some meaty specs including a 1920 x 1200 LED back-lit display, Core i7 processor, up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM and your choice of ATI FirePro M7740 or NVIDIA Quadro FX 3800M discrete GPUs. The notebook also supports up to three storage devices. But there is always room for improvement, right?
Dell has just added some new configuration options. You can now purchase your M6500 with USB 3.0 ports. There is something for the budget conscious as well. The Precision M6500 can now be configured with a Core i5 processor which is relatively slower than the Core i7.
No word on pricing as yet. The Core i7 configuration costs around $2,700. The Core i5 model should cost less.
