Gateway Intros its First 11.6" Netbook

Gateway today introduced its new LT1300 netbook featuring an 11.6-inch display with LED backlighting and a high 1366x768 resolution. The LT1300 is interestingly powered by an AMD Athlon 64 L110 processor, running at 1.2GHz with a 512kb L2 cache. An ATI Radeon X1270 takes care of the graphics chores. A six-cell battery, 250GB hard drive, and 2GB of DDR2 RAM round out the list. Unlike regular netbooks, the LT1300 runs Windows Vista Home Basic. It measures 11.3" (W) x 8" (D) x 1.03" (H) and has a starting weight of 3.14 pounds.
